And because there is no easy way of migrating games installed through Epic to another location (even though Steam has had this feature for years), I have to re-download it. It detects the Rockstar Games from my Steam Library just fine, but it won't detect GTA V because I was stupid enough to name the install folder "GTAV" instead of "Grand Theft Auto V", and you can't point the launcher to where the game is fucking installed. "OK," I said, "I'll just download Rockstar Launcher separately and install it." It installs just fine (because it will only install if you right-click and "run as Administrator", and no, it won't install if Epic is running with admin privileges). I try installing Rockstar Launcher through locks up and won't install. My problem is Rockstar Launcher is a totally unnecessary pile of dogshit, and Epic Games can eat a bowl of dicks.

So happy i never paid any money for this. in game the 4-way buttons doesnt work so i cant play the game. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THAT LAUNCHER IF ITS NOT INTEGRATED WITH INSTALLED GAMES FROM EPIC LAUNCHER ?Įdit: I'm using Playstation DS4 constrollers for PC with InputMapper. sweetĮdit: So, it seems that the Rockstar Launcher doesn't actually know that GTA-V is installed, if i open the launcher I'm asked to purchase GTA-V.
